1 tax area · 4 taxing units each
An Indiana property is taxed by every unit its tax district covers: the county, the township, the city or town if it's in one, the school corporation, the library and any special districts. All of Jefferson Township shares the same combination.
Your tax bill, or your county's appraisal or assessment office, lists the units for your property.
Medians are of the lowest combined rate in each place, across 17 places in Boone County. Percent changes compare two published rates; a rate change isn't the same as a bill change, because values change too.
